We're often asked how we came up with the wonderful concept of Self
Indulgence. The idea was born during a time when a few friends of
mine were getting together for Girls Night Out. On these nights we
set aside some time to indulge in such things as foot soaks and
facials. The benefits we received from these special nights seemed to
have such a lasting, positive effect on the rest of our life. We came
away feeling so renewed and refreshed, ready to take on the world
again!
Then one day while doing my meditation and yoga, the idea came to
me that all women could really benefit from this type of "self
indulgence" and that the best way to acomplish this would be through a
party plan and network marketing. (That’s one reason I’m so fond of
meditation and yoga.)
I invited my cousin and one of my best friends, Kim Baltunis, to
become my partner. Kim brings with her over ten years of experience
in network marketing. We’ve been through a lot together, elementary
school, high school, college, working together, marriage, kids, and
now the greatest adventure of all!
I feel our story shows how easy it is to make great things happen
when you truly believe in what you're doing. We take a lot of pride
in our products and all aspects of our company and have set high goals
and standards to make Self Indulgence the best it can be. We hope you
enjoy the journey as much as we do.
When Hollie called and told me her idea, she asked if I thought it
was possible. I immediately said "Yes!" and have not had a moment’s
doubt since. I was thrilled that she chose me with whom to share her
vision and couldn't wait to get started on it.
I had been really focusing on myself for two years prior. After
the unexpected death of my mother, I saw how important it was to take
care of my needs first. Otherwise, there is simply nothing left over
for others in my life who need me and rely on me for their own
existence. I was actually pregnant at the time of her death. I truly
KNOW if “Mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy”.
I love the concept, idea, and fruition of Self Indulgence. I love
the fabulous products Hollie has so diligently researched and
indulgently sampled and used! I love the idea of doing our retreats
in a home party setting. We are bringing women together to build
friendships, learn new ideas, and experience a couple of hours focused
only on themselves! I love the structure of our business. In network
marketing no one person is successful or fulfilled, whether it be
emotionally or financially, without directly helping and empowering
one or many others. To me that is profound, and I am proud to offer
all three: Products, services, and opportunities to so many people,
while at the same time living my own passion! I am truly blessed, and
it is my sincere hope that you too will be blessed in some way by Self
Indulgence.
