Wow!  What a job it was reviewing over 300 different companies.

Many didn't make the list, because they had already went "Out of Business", or they just didn't offer a way to make money from them anymore.  That's right folks!  Some companies started off as a network marketing company, and then changed to a direct sales company, after they built up a customer base.

Sounds unfair, but that's reality!  Company owners, sometimes screw over the distributors!  That's why you need to pick the company you get involved with carefully!  I've done a lot of the hard work for you.  However, the choice is still yours!

I'm going to list my "Favorites" list, so you can chose the one that fits you best.  This is basically, the "TOP" companies, with the Highest Score.  (But, some made the list with a low score.  I'll tell you why later).  That way, you know that you have a good, stable, solid company.  All you have to do is find a leader to help you build your business.  (You can contact the company directly, and ask for a leader).

If you're lucky, you might find one that is using the tools recommended on this site.  If he or she is using some, or all of the tools, you will have the best chance of success.  If not, you can always introduce them to this brand new technology yourself.  It's a long hard road if you try to build your business the "Old Fashion Way"!  I wouldn't recommend it.

All I can do... is present you the "Opportunity", give you the "Facts", and give you an "Honest" answer.

The decision is up to YOU!  I want you to succeed, no matter what program you're in. There are a lot of great programs out there, and you can make a lot of money in any of them!  That's why I did this review... to help People!  I just hope that you are "in one", that you are the most comfortable with, and one that will be around for a long, long time.

Ok, now that we have that out of the way, let's get down to business.  Below are the companies that I recommend, and why I recommended them!  Of course, anyone that recommends a company, and is actively involved with that company, makes me question their review and opinion.

It may be Basis!  So, when I tell you that I recommend a company... you can rest assured that I'm NOT a member of that company.  I've spent over 4 months researching over 300 different companies, and I will give you my UN-Basis Opinion.  I have Nothing to Gain if you choose to sign up with one to companies list.

The Best of the Each Category!

First, "Nutrition".  Wow!  There must have been at least 100 or more companies in the nutrition field.  (Click here to see a list of my Top Twenty)  I tried to find a company that stood out among the crowd.  The products are all great... from every company.  But, no one company is any better then the other.

Second, "Technology" and "Long Distance".  I lumped them together, as they have similar products.  There wasn't many choices in the long distance companies, and since I think it's a dying industry, I can't recommend that anyone get involved with a long distance today.  I believe that the internet will eventually make long distance a thing of the past.  On the other hand, technology is a different story.  So, what's my favorite "Technology" company?

  The "TOP" company on my list, and the "Number ONE Overall Choice" out of over 300 companies is VMDirect!

Let's first look at their score.  They scored a total of 37 points.  Let's break it down and get a closer look at each category.  First, in the Quality category.  They scored a "5".  They have products that can't be found elsewhere, and are easy to use and understand.

Next, the Uniqueness category.  Well, they scored a perfect "5".  Why wouldn't they?  There was only a few other companies offering video that I could find.  It's a new technology, and totally unique!  And NO ONE has their "Live Broadcast" tool!

Moving on to the Demand category.  I gave them a "4", only because there isn't a huge demand... YET!  However, that number could easily be a "5", as demand increases over the next few years!

Video on the Internet is a 1000 FOOT Tidal Wave that is Only 5 FEET Tall Right Now!

I can see a near term future when everyone will be using "Video" over a wireless internet, to communicate!  It's coming!  Mark my words on that!  As a matter of Fact, VMDirect is launching a product the size of a VCR that you can hook up to your Television and Talk to People "Face To Face".

Already, many high profile companies are starting to use video.  The cast of "Days of Our Lives" is using video emails to send to fans.  The US Military uses video emails on over 80 bases... so does the Pentagon!

One of our affiliates signed up some of the Miami Dolphins football players.  UPS now uses video email!  It's coming... and it's coming FAST!

Ok, what about the Consumable category?  Folks, if you think that only nutrition is consumable, you're DEAD Wrong!  Video email and video on your website is Highly Consumable!  (I gave them a "4").  Think about it.  Once someone records a video, it is stored on VMDirects' server.  You then pay a monthly fee to send video's.  It's a lot like a cell phone.  You get so many minutes of recording time per month.  The more people use it, the more money you make.

But here is the catch, once you start sending Video, you get addicted to it.  You won't want to go back to text email no more then you want to give up your high speed connection for dial up!

 

If you decide that you no longer want to use it, you could lose all those video's that you sent to your family and friends.  Some of which, could have sentimental meaning.  Maybe a video of your pets or children playing, or you acting silly, or maybe a video of a rare moment. You don't want to lose them, so you will pay the monthly bill just like you pay for your internet connection, electricity, water, and gas bill.

It may someday be considered a utility.  You may stop paying your credit cards bills, if you get in a tight spot.  You may even stop eating out and buying your nutrition supplements, but you won't turn off your internet connection, your electricity, or your video email!  This is TRULY a consumable product!

Years in Business.  I gave them a "5" on this one.  They are currently about 2 1/2 years old, however they have been developing the "Streaming Video" technology since 1996,... long before they opened their doors to the public.

And, unlike most network marketing companies that spend 1/2 million to 2 million dollars to start up their business, VMDirect spent $62 Million Dollars to develop the technology.  That's a whole lot of money to spend on a company with a 97% chance of failure.

In case you don't know, 97% of all network marketing companies fail within the first 5 years.  But, very few of them spend more then a few million dollars to start their business.  That has a lot to do with the high failure rate.  That's why I think VMDirect will be around for a long long time!  They have very deep pockets!  They are in this for the long haul!

Sales Volume. Well I gave them a "4" for this category.  They are still new and of course the sales volume reflects that.  Don't think it will stay that way long!  They could be a $100 million dollar company, on their way to being a Billion dollar company, before you know it!  (As of the end of 2005, their sales were $20-$30 Million Dollars).

Compensation Plan.  I gave them a "5" on this one.  They currently pay out 56% of every dollar back to the affiliates.  (The industry average is 30%-40%).  This is one of those rare companies that the income potential is truly staggering!  If you crunch the numbers... anyone has an opportunity to make a 7 figure monthly income... with 5 and 6 figures becoming common!

Last but not least is their Reputation.  I give them a "5".  I have heard nothing but praise about this company.  The leaders are experienced network marketers, and technically savvy.  I personally went to Las Vegas to meet the owners, and I highly recommend this company!

Third.  Doublers.  Ok, let's move on to the next group of companies... "Money Doublers".  Folks, you need to go read up on how they work to understand them fully.  They are the newest trend to hit the internet today.  However, I won't recommend any of them.  They are too risky for my blood!  Sorry, but there isn't any one of them that I think is worth recommending.

Fourth.  Leads.  I'm going to recommend a few companies here, if you decide that you must buy leads.  I don't buy them myself.  There are much better ways to market!  Go read my article called:   The "Real Secrets" to Marketing, and Why No One Else will Ever tell you This!  Then decide if you still want to buy from a lead company.

Before I make this recommendation and before you join, keep in mind that this is a simple, easy to use, strategy to promote your primary business.  I teach people a much more advanced strategy, on how to generate your own leads, when someone joins with me in the business I'm promoting.

One company I like is Simpler Leads.  You get a lot more leads for the money, then most other programs.  However, I recommend that you try placing FREE Ad's online first, before you start your email campaign.  It's harder work, but it can get better results.  (With the "Spamming" laws being so complicated, it's not wise to do a email campaign if you don't know what you're doing).  Click on the banner below to watch my free video explaining how to build your own list.

Fifth.  Travel.  After reviewing all the travel related companies that I could find, I can't recommend any of them.  There is just too much competition in the travel industry for a network marketing company to survive.  To read more, go to my "Travel" category.

Sixth.  Discount Plans and Products.  This is really a no brainier!  They have NO consumable products!  Don't waste your time on companies that just offer discounts on products, or want you to sell their products.  It's not a business that you can build up and retire from.  It will always take new people to buy new products.  It's a never ending advertising nightmare!

Think about it!  If they sell a discount package for dental care, health care, hotels, airplane tickets, legal services, or certain products from certain companies... it's not something that people will re-buy monthly!  Most of these "discount plans" are sold on a yearly basis.  And you can get a lot of the same discount plan from other companies, that are not a network marketing company.  Bottom line here... Don't waste your time on discount plans and products!  Remember, your goal is to work hard for a few years, and building up a business so you can retire and travel the world, with lots of money to spend!

My Favorite Nutrition Companies!

Amazon Herb Company-Nutrition

This company has some incredible products, including some rare tea's and skin care creams.  All from the rain forest.  They also have a 45% payout, and another 11% for leadership bonus.  Overall, a great company!  With both a great product line and a great compensation plan.

Biometrics International-Nutrition

My favorite thing about this company is the fact that all of their products are delivered through a "Liquid Method".  This makes it very easy to take.  Especially for people who hate to take tablets and capsules.  However, I wasn't impressed with the compensation plan.  There are some leadership bonuses, but the basic plan is only a 24% pay out through 6 levels.

Brain Garden-Nutrition

This company sell "Whole Foods".  Their main product line called "Pulse", is a unique blend of 24 whole food ingredients combining nature's bounty of fruits, nuts, seeds, grains, and legumes containing all 7 fibers known to man.  They also have an excellent skin care line that is also made with whole foods.

However, I wasn't that impressed with their compensation plan.  It seems to be heavy on the back end, and light on the front end.  So, it would discourage a lot of people in the beginning, as it will take too long to get up to a level that you are making enough money to quit your day job, and go full time with this business.  Overall though, I love the products, and the company.

Earth Tribe-Nutrition

This company scored low on the overall score.  Only a 27.  However, I'm not recommending it for a business investment, instead, I'm recommending it for the products they sell.  Some of you might need some of their products.  They only pay out 10% on the first level only, so I wouldn't join for the business opportunity.  But, I love their products.

The CEO of the company, Mary Lee, grew up on the Leech Lake Indian Reservation in Northern Minnesota. She was exposed to the practices and wisdom of healing with plants throughout her childhood and saw the benefits of this natural approach to health and beauty with her own eyes.  Folks, the Indian are the only true "Americans", and I think we can all learn a thing or two from them!

Essentially Yours Industries-Nutrition

This company specializes in selling a 22 year old product called Colorad.  It is for weight loss and overall health.  They have already made over $300 million in sales over the last 9 years, and paid out over $154 million in commissions.

They use a 50-50 modern binary plan.  Basically, you can only put 2 people on you first level, then 4, 8, 16, etc. on the next levels.  This is a quick, fast building matrix.  The only downside is the $20,000 per week cap on your earning.  Most people would be happy with that kind of money, but let me tell something... You won't like it when you surpass that cap in 5 or 10 years!

I know of one distributor named Richard Kall, that is now in his 18th year with another company. He has made as much as $900,000 per month!  If you built the same organization, you would be leaving over $820,000 on the table!  Try to stay away from companies with a cap limit!  Overall though, they have an excellent compensation plan.  You can make a lot of quick money with them!

Formor International-Nutrition

This company has an incredible 60% payout!  That's almost double the average of 30%-40% in the industry.  They sell practically every nutritional supplement you can think of.  If there is a downside, it would the fact that their product aren't unique or of "better then average" quality.  Not that I find anything wrong with them, it's just that I can purchase most of their products at the local nutrition store.

However, I'm sure that each of their products has something special about them that you can uses as a selling point.  It's just a lot of work learning and explaining every product in their line.  Overall, it's an excellent company with an average product line and a great compensation plan.

Ideal Health-Nutrition

This company pays out 36% plus overrides.  So, the compensation plan is better than average.  But, what I like the most about this company, is the fact that all of your supplements are custom made for you.  They do a urine test and determine what each and every person is lacking for nutrition.  And then they custom make a supplement plan just for them.

The most impressive thing with Ideal Health, is their marketing plan.  They air a 30 minute Infomercial, (you can view it on the internet also), that plays across the country everyday.  The people interested in the product and/or opportunity, call a 1-800 number, and the company signs them up under one of their distributors.  They basically build your business for you!

Of course, it would build a lot faster if you did some marketing.  But, it's a great program for the person who doesn't know how to market.  It may take you a couple of years to get up to $10,000 per month letting them build it for you, but that's worth waiting for!  Couple this with a little advertising of your own, and you are on your way to the "Rich" house!

Immunotec Research Ltd-Nutrition

Immunotec pays out a maximum of 46%.  I like that a lot!  The products that they offer are of better the average quality.  I like that too!  As a matter of fact, everything about this company looks "better then average".  However, I have one small problem with them.  There doesn't seem to be any product to focus on.  No "center" piece.  To me, it just means that I will have to do a lot of educating.

So, even with a great compensation plan, and a great product line, I don't feel comfortable with this company.  Nothing wrong with them!  I just don't want to try and build a business with them.  I wouldn't have any problems taking their products though.  It's just my personal opinion.  You do your own research.

Integris-Nutrition

This company has a 54% pay out plan.  You can definitely make a lot of money with this company!  The products aren't unique, but they are "better than average" in quality.  And they are all high demand, consumable products.

Nothing really out of the ordinary here, just the same old products, being jazzed up a little and sold through network marketing channels.  This is a solid company with a good reputation.  You could do a lot worse!

L'bri Skin Care-Skin Care and Nutrition

This company has an average compensation plan that pays out 35%-40%, depending on the level that you are at.  Their products are average in the "uniqueness" category, but they are of the highest quality.  Excellent products and a good comp plan makes for a good choice... especially for women, who use skin care products more than men.

Legacy for Life-Nutrition

Legacy has a patented hyperimmune egg product called immune²⁶ that they use in their product line.  The quality is of the highest with this company.  They also have and excellent compensation plan.  This is definitely a company worth investigating.

Lexxus international-Skin Care and Nutrition

Although skin care has become more important to men today, women still use the products a lot more then men.  Since this companies primary products are skin care related, it would be an outstanding choice for any woman looking to start a business.  The products are of the highest quality.

The company is relatively new, opening its' doors in 2001.  They have set all kinds of sales records, already surpassing the $100 million dollar mark! And their compensation plan pays out up to 60%!  This is a great choice for anyone looking to start a business!

Mannatech-Nutrition

Here is another outstanding company!  They have a 42% payout, and an exclusive line of products.  Their flagship product "Ambrotose AO" is a worldwide patented success.  The company has over a Billion dollars in sales and has paid out over $365 million dollars to distributors.  I can't find anything wrong with this company.

The only downside to this company is the fact that they are going on 11 years old.  That certainly doesn't mean that you can't make a lot of money with them, it just means that you might run into a few more people that have already heard of them.  Overall, you can't go wrong with this company.

New Vision - Nutrition

I like this company because of the products.  They are of very high quality.  The company has a high reputation and an average compensation plan.  This is an excellent company to join for the products and the comp plan.  However, with over 100,000 distributors, it's a little tougher to build a business with.  That's the only downside... their already 10 years old.  A little to old for my taste, but make your own decision.  They are still an excellent company.

Oasis LifeSciences-Nutrition

This company has an unusual product line that is of very high quality.  The main product is called AgelessXtra.  It is used for antioxidant protection.  They have a 33% residual pay plan and up to 47% for direct sales.  This is about average in the industry.  Overall, this could be another excellent company to join.

Sea Alive-Nutrition

This company focuses on two things.  The incredible 85% pay plan, and the "Ephedra Free" weight loss product called Banaba Trim.  It is a new company launching in the fall of 2003.  That, of course, means that they have low sales volume and a high risk of failure.  But, it's hard to overlook the huge pay out!

If you got involved now and the company failed before they reached the critical 5 year mark, you would have to start all over again.  However, you could make a lot of money between now and then!  And don't forget, the company could make it!  Wow!  That sure would be nice.  Either way, it's a tough decision?

Sea Silver-Nutrition

This 10 year old company promotes one product... Sea Silver.  They offer a 100% money back guarantee.  Their whole food liquid supplement is a high quality and unique product.  Their compensation plan is above average as well.

However, in 2003, the company was temporarily seized and shut down by the FTC over unsubstantiated product claims it was making. A recent judgment of $120 million was handed down and the company is again open for business, with no admission of wrong doing. The judgment prohibits the company from making any future misleading product claims regarding product effectiveness in the treatment of specific conditions.

This doesn't mean that the product doesn't work.  It simply means that it was challenged in court.  Many nutrition companies get investigated by the FTC.  It's part of doing business in network marketing.  With so many scams out there, every company is looked at with a fine tooth comb.

Vision For Life-Nutrition

V4L is an excellent company with a 50% residual pay out, and an above average product line.  They are about the right age, being in business since 1998.  They have a wide list of products to choose from, including hair care, skin care, body lotions, and nutrition supplements.  It is certainly a top notch company that you should consider joining.

Young Living-Nutrition

You should read the incredible story about the founder Gary Young.  It could be made into a movie.  Anyway, the product is excellent and the compensation plan is average.  Paying out between 25% to 38%.  They were founded in 1993 and have over 250,000 distributors.  You can't go wrong by joining this company.  They have an excellent reputation, wonderful product, and a good compensation plan.

Youngevity-Nutrition

This company has a product called Vilcabamba Mineral Essence®.  The focus of the company is based on the Vilcabama people, high up in the Andes mountains, where 1 in 64 people live to be 100 years old.  They base their product line around this.

They started in 1991, and they have a better then average compensation plan.  I like the companies' drive.  They are 100% about providing the absolute best product available.  Definitely worth looking at.
